About the Owners

Tim and Carol’s journey into pharmacy started when Tim was working towards his B.S. at Washington State University. While he was away, his family made the move from Washington to Southern Oregon. Whenever Tim came home to visit, he noticed a little pharmacy in the neighboring town of Medford.

After graduating, Tim decided to head back to the Central Point/Medford area to be close to his family and started working at that pharmacy. Before long, that locally owned spot joined forces with another nearby pharmacy. Tim ended up owning a quarter of that pharmacy, which was run by long-time Medford locals. Tim helped them retire by purchasing the pharmacies so the former owners could confidently pass the torch.

Since then, Tim and his wife Carol have been running Black Oak Pharmacy in Medford, Shady Cove Pharmacy in Shady Cove, and Black Oak Home Medical in Medford. For 40+ years they’ve been committed to serving the Medford community with hands-on, personalized service.
